Qualifications: Applicants must hold paraprofessional certification, i.e. meet the requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, possessing an Associate's Degree or the equivalent of two years of college or successfully passed the appropriate state or national test. Documentation must be provided with the application; teaching certification and experience working with children preferred.
Responsibilities: Assist teachers in multiple grade levels with routine procedures and perform assigned tasks such as supervising students, copying student materials, preparing instructional materials and bulletin boards. Assist with paperwork, filing, and record keeping, small groups and individual instruction. Must be able to work independently and take direction. Must assist in data collection.
